The health and wellness of our community must become a national priority, and more particularly in 58B. There are more than 46 million Americans without health care insurance. In 58B it is well documented that we are challenged by a number of health disparities that affect the quality of life of our families, neighbors, and friends. In Minnesota alone there are approximately 500,000 people without health care coverage. This must change! I believe that all Americans should have access to high quality health care. This should be a right and not a choice. We need bold and passionate leadership in 58B that continues to fight and advocate for Universal Health Care as a means to make the uninsured visit to the doctor be that of a preventive measure as opposed to an emergency room visit as a last resort. As State Representative for 58B, I will be your voice.
